Are you looking for ways to keep your kids busy this summer?

With many sleep-away and day camps cancelled, Camp from Home is here to create an environment that allows your young children and teens to still be with their friends and/or family members in a safe and fun manner.

Camp from Home is offering small-group “camp” sessions (less than 10 children). We will cater crafts and activities to your childrens’ ages and interests, whether it be decoupaging, planting flowers, marbleizing ring dishes, organizing trivia games, creating touch-less scavenger hunts and minute-to-win-it games, tie-dying t-shirts, leading Tik-Tok inspired activities, or conducting science experiments. We will provide separate and personal materials for each child when necessary. We will come to your backyard and will of course work according to the CDC guidelines.

Camp from Home is run by Marisa Radulescu. Throughout high school, she ran her own business where she conducted parties/events around the Tri-State area that allowed children to make all-natural beauty products using essential oils. She also has substantial experience leading/overseeing sessions for children and teens at the Long Island Children’s Museum, Pierce Day Camp, The Bryant Library, Blue Moon Label Camp, and the Girl Scouts organization. As a Human Development major at Cornell University, she is great with kids of all ages, and even has experience working with children with special needs. She is trained in graphic design, is a self-proclaimed DIY expert, and is excited to help any child's idea come to life.

If anyone is reluctant about in-person groups, we can also drop off any materials at everyone’s home and will conduct the classes through zoom.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Organize a small group of friends who want to safely interact! We will pick and organize a schedule for sessions once a week, twice a week, bi-weekly, one-time, or whatever works for you.

SAMPLE CRAFTS AND ACTIVITIES

We can brainstorm ideas that are perfect for your childrens' ages and interests. In the meantime, take a look at these ideas that we love...

Sessions are all conducted outdoors. Please make sure that each camper has a table space that is appropriately distanced from others. In the case of rain, we will either conduct classes via zoom or will attempt to reschedule if you do not have a covered location for us to work. We will be taking all precautions necessary, including wearing masks and gloves.
